How much a restaurant website costs
Pase's public prices, market ranges seen in October 2026 and what goes wrong in the restaurant websites we reviewed. What's included, what's extra and when you pay.
The short answer
With Pase, a restaurant or bar website costs between €600–900 (essential website) and €1,200–1,800 (full website), VAT not included, paid once, with the domain in your name. Monthly care, which covers hosting, menu and opening-hours changes, backups and a quarterly Google report, costs €30–60 a month, month by month and with no tie-in.
On the market, in October 2026, a restaurant website ran from about €15 a month on subscription (in which case the website usually isn't yours) to €2,500 or more at the one tourist-area agency we saw. The usual range for a freelancer or a small studio: €500 to €1,500 paid once. The detail, with its date, is further down.
Before you pay anything, with Pase you see your website finished, with your menu and your photos. The demo is free and there's no obligation.
Pase's prices
- Essential website
- €600–900
- Home page, menu as text, contact and opening hours, WhatsApp, Spanish and English, local SEO and a domain in your name.
- Full website
- €1,200–1,800
- Everything in the essential one, plus a page per location, a gallery, guided WhatsApp booking, celebrations or promotions and migration from your current site.
- Monthly care
- €30–60 a month
- Hosting, menu, hours and price changes, backups and a quarterly Google report. No tie-in.
VAT not included. 50% when you accept the quote and 50% when the website goes live on your domain. Monthly care is invoiced at the end of each month. The demo and the PDF review of your website are free.
They're ranges: once you've seen your demo, we tell you where your case sits, and why, before you accept anything. The quote is fixed: what it says is what you pay. With one location, the essential website covers what your customers look for; the full one is for several locations, a gallery or guided booking.
For a restaurant, what changes compared with any other website is the menu as text with prices and allergens, the “open now” notice and, with the full website, guided WhatsApp booking with no commission. What's extra (photos, new copy, other languages, third-party booking systems, additional locations and a logo) is quoted before it's done.

So you can compare, this is what we saw published on websites and in Google ads on 21 and 22 October 2026, grouped by type of offer and without naming brands. It isn't a market study: these are public prices from those days and they can change. Unless stated, we don't know whether they include VAT.
| What's on offer | Public price seen | Is the website yours? |
|---|---|---|
| A website builder or template you use yourself | €12 to €80 a month on the usual plans, often billed a year in advance; the domain is free only in the first year | No: it lives on the platform and switches off if you stop paying |
| A website built by a studio and paid for monthly | €15 to €99 a month; in some cases a set-up fee of about €200 or a buy-out of the site for €1,500 | Only if you buy it, where that's offered |
| A one-off website from a freelancer or a small studio | Typically €500 to €1,500; ad offers from €189 to €600 | Yes; ask about the domain and the hosting |
| One tourist-area, fine-dining agency (a single offer seen) | €2,500, €3,500 or from €6,500 in one payment | Yes |
| One hospitality website platform (a single offer seen) | €990, €2,790 or €4,900 a year | If you don't renew, the site is paused |
| Menu, booking or till software with a website included | From €119 a month for software with a website included. Booking systems are separate, with a monthly fee and, in some, a charge per diner; their rates aren't published on their official sites | It depends on the software |
| Maintenance, on top of the website | €15 to €400 a month depending on the source; at one local studio, €29 to €80 depending on what's included | — |

Where Pase sits: in the middle of the one-off range, above the ad offers and below the tourist-area agencies. Price isn't what sets us apart. What does is that you see the website before you pay, and that the website and the domain are yours.
One payment or a monthly fee: what changes
Several companies now show you the website before you pay, as we do, and charge a subscription: €15 to €35 a month, VAT included or not depending on the offer, with a buy-out of the site offered separately in some cases. It's a reasonable option if you don't want to pay anything up front.
With Pase, the website is yours as soon as you've paid for it, €600–900 for the essential one, and the domain is registered in your name from day one. Monthly care (hosting, changes and backups) is separate and optional: €30–60 a month, no tie-in. If you take it, over three years the total comes to more than a cheap subscription; in return, the website and the domain are yours from day one and you can stop the care whenever you like. If you ever stop, we hand the website over so you can host it wherever you like.
Subscription or a website you own, comparedWhat it costs to maintain the website
On the market, website maintenance runs from €15 to €400 a month depending on the source and what's included (public prices from October 2026); at one local studio, €29 to €80 depending on what's included. Part of that work is updating the content management system and its plugins so nothing breaks.
Our websites are static: there's no content management system and no plugins to update, so monthly care goes on what's useful to you: hosting, the menu, hours and price changes you send us on WhatsApp, backups and a report every three months on how your business shows up on Google. It costs €30–60 a month, VAT not included, month by month and with no tie-in.
Can you do without it? Yes. The website is yours and we hand it over as HTML, which can be hosted anywhere. You'll need hosting and someone to make the menu changes when they come up.
What monthly care includesWhat we saw go wrong in 25 restaurant websites
Price matters, but it matters more that the website does its job. In October 2026 we reviewed 25 restaurant and bar websites in Málaga and the Costa del Sol. It's a picked sample, not a random one, and we don't name any of them. This is what came up most:
25 of 25
had opening hours that differed depending on where you looked, or weren't on the website at all.
21 of 25
didn't have the menu as text on their own website (9 publish it as a PDF or a photo).
That's why the essential website comes with the menu as text, one set of hours with “open now”, the WhatsApp booking button and English as standard: they're the faults we saw most, and they don't cost extra.

A quote is a promise; a demo is the website. You tell us about your restaurant and we show you your website finished, with your menu, your photos and your real details, on a link that opens on your phone, together with a PDF reviewing what you have online today. You look at it in your own time, show it to whoever you like and decide.
If you like it, you get the fixed quote and pay 50% when you accept it; the rest when the site goes live. If you don't like it, nothing happens and you owe nothing.
Five questions to ask before hiring anyone to build your website
- Whose name is the domain in? It should be yours, not the studio's.
- Can I take the website with me if I leave? Ask what format you'd get it in.
- What does the monthly fee include, and is there a tie-in? Ask for hosting, changes and backups to be spelled out.
- Who makes the menu changes, and how long do they take? That's what you'll need most.
- Can I see the website before I pay? If the answer is no, ask why.
