How much a website costs for a freelancer or small business
What a website costs for a freelancer, what each option includes and what to ask before hiring.
The short answer
With Pase, a website for a freelancer or small business costs between €600–900 (essential website) and €1,200–1,800 (complete website), VAT not included, in one payment and with the domain in your name. Monthly care (hosting, changes, backups) costs €30–60 a month, month to month with no lock-in.
Before you pay anything you see your website finished, with your brand and details. The demo is free and there is no obligation.
Essential or complete: which one fits
The essential one covers what a customer looks for on their phone: who you are, what you do, what it costs, where you are, and a WhatsApp button. The complete one adds a gallery, guided booking or appointments by WhatsApp, more sections and migration from your current website. These are ranges: after seeing your demo we tell you where your case falls and why.
What to ask before hiring anyone
- Will the website and domain be in my name, with the keys in my hands?
- Is the price a one-off payment or a subscription? If a subscription, what happens if I stop paying?
- What does monthly maintenance include and is there a lock-in?
- Will I see the finished website before paying?
- What is left out and quoted separately (photos, texts, languages, logo)?
- Can it be linked to my Google listing and to WhatsApp?
For freelancers: what to be clear about
A freelancer website needs a legal notice and privacy policy with the owner details, and must not set third-party cookies without telling visitors. Ours carry the legal texts and use no cookies. Prices above are before VAT.
